We are collecting memories, memorabilia, and photos, and would like to hear from you:

  • Did you, or someone you know, compete athletically at SJSC between the years of 1956 and 1969? Before 1956?

  • Did you, or someone you know, attend SJSC between the years of 1956 and 1969?

  • Do you, or someone you know, have a memory to share of SJSC’s dominance in the sport of track and field between 1956 and 1969?

  • Do you have a memory of Harry EdwardsOlympic Project for Human Rights, or John Carlos and Tommie Smith’s protest on the winners’ podium in Mexico City in 1968?

  • Did you compete athletically at a predominately Black college during the years between 1956 and 1969?
